School Improvement Process

A self-renewing Catholic school engages in processes and procedures by which the school community and others continually look closely at the school’s purposes and performance. This requires the nurturing of a school climate such that will enable positive change and growth to be experienced by the school community.

In 2015, St Joseph's formalised its ongoing commitment to school improvement through verification and validation. A culminating aspect of the process is 2016-2020 School Renewal Plan. Developed through consultation and endorsed by the school community, the plan frames our annual goals and directions as we continually seek to improve our school across the ten Characteristics of Effective Catholic Schools.
