Student Wellbeing & Pastoral Care

St Joseph’s Catholic School is a vibrant, multi-cultural school that works in conjunction with St Mary Mackillop Early Learning Centre, St Joseph’s Kindergarten and OSHC, St Kieran’s Catholic Primary School, Good Shepherd Catholic College and Good Shepherd Parish, to provide a seamless Catholic Education for families from birth to Year 12.

The school was founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph in 1932 and continues to embody the charism of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop in its learning and everyday relationships.

The school is well-regarded in the Mount Isa community. At St Joseph's Catholic School, we believe that student wellbeing is paramount. In order for our students to Love, Learn and Serve to the best of their ability, they must have a safe and positive school environment.
